Stefanie Brown


Originally from Phoenix Arizona, Stefanie moved to New York City after touring the country for 3 years with the Broadway national tour of Wicked. Stefanie got her NASM certification in 2017 and has been teaching group classes ever since. Stefanie taught HIIT and strength training modalities at both Orangetheory Upper West Side and Fithouse in New York City. Along with her PT certification, she also received her Pre/Post Natal certification in early 2019. Stefanie continues to act and perform and has appeared in various network television shows and off broadway theatre. During the pandemic, Stefanie has been offering her own class programming through her series; Sweat with Stef and now through PIVOT virtual fitness. Juliet Brooks


Juliet is thrilled to be a founding instructor at Pivot Virtual Fitness. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she trained under the highly accredited Alabama Athletic Trainers while serving as Captain for the Nationally Ranked Dance Team. Juliet moved to New York to pursue dance and theatre and worked professionally for over 10 years before she transitioned into the fitness industry.  She has experience working in both corporate gyms and boutique fitness companies in Manhattan. She has trained all ages from 6 to 86 and specializes in Core, Strength, Functional Movement, Pilates, High Intensity Interval Training, and Pre and Post Natal fitness.  When she’s not training, she’s running after her two-year-old daughter. Certifications include: NASM CPT, NCSF CPT, AFFA GROUP FITNESS, Pilates Mat Module One, Pre/Post Natal Certified

Katie McKinney


I ran D1 cross country and track in college, but after an injury sidelined me for my last two years, I decided to get my Personal Training certification so I could help others overcome injury and feel their best when working out. As a coach, I love to push you to your limits, but also reminding you that your "limits" may look and feel different day-to-day. That's why my favorite fitness motto is "I control the time, but you control the grind" so YOU decide what you want from the workout that day!

Jolina Javier


Jolina is originally from San Jose, California where she studied with The San Francisco Ballet. She continued her training at SUNY Purchase College where she received her BFA in Dance and was the recipient of the Ballet Achievement Award. Jolina currently lives in New York City where she has been seen performing at The Radio City Music Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, New York City Center and on Broadway. Her fitness journey began when she first took a class with boutique fitness studio in NYC, ChaiseFitness. She discovered the importance of conditioning and how it allowed her to find more body awareness and freedom not only in her dancing but her day to day life. Jolina is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and her teaching style focuses on form, function, and most importantly fun. Jolina believes a healthy and happy lifestyle is motivated by music, so playlists are another one of her many passions. Expect to sweat and burn to some of Jo's Jams. She hopes to inspire others by sharing her love for wellness and self care through movement.

Torie Stearns

Torie is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and group fitness instructor, whose priority is to make sure that you feel your very best with every workout! As a Division I athlete, Torie learned the value of training hard and smart. After graduating from Brown University, Torie used the tools she learned as an athlete to train for 3 NYC marathons. She then made a career pivot, making fitness her full time profession, starting as a private trainer, and then working as a coach at Orangetheory Fitness. When the pandemic hit, another pivot occurred. She now owns her own wellness company, Spark Wellness, where she and her business partner take a holistic approach to health and wellness, combining health coaching and fitness coaching for the full package. Torie joins Pivot as a fitness professional, looking to bring you the fundamentals, so that movement becomes a PART of your life and not a separate piece!

Lauren Zakrin

Lauren is a Broadway actor, singer, and dancer, with a passion for mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. Her own long journey of healing and building self love has lead her to her purpose: helping others to learn how to love and honor their bodies and minds. As a Yoga Alliance RYT 200hr Certified Yoga Teacher, an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and a current student in the NASM Nutrition Coach Program, Lauren combines education and knowledge with positive energy and optimism to help you LOVE using your body, and LOVE how you FEEL. Her philosophy for wellness is that fitness and nutrition should never be a punishment, but instead a celebration and a gift.
